I had a few standout moments this season, the first being the absolutely stunning show from Bobby Abley.

Abley brought such a sense of nostalgia and fun to his collection this season, and he does it in such a way that maintains a high fashion standard which is difficult to do as it could have so easily gone into the realms of tacky or unpolished. I loved the vibrant colours and the whimsical patterns of Pokémon characters, and I know those Squirtle print pyjamas are going to be a huge hit – I literally have them down on my wish list!

Abley also brings a sense of togetherness and family spirit to his collections, and this season was no exception with his Mum (and other family members) contributing their own hand-knitting to the scarves and knitwear made exclusively for the show – a beautiful way of showing support and sharing skills. How about that beautiful handmade Christina Aguilera jacket? That would make anyone feel ‘Glam’ (for all you X-Tina fans out there) – beautiful skills!

A special guest also made a cameo on the runway at the end of Ableys show – PIKACHU! – the whole audience turned in their seats and the joy it brought them all was great to see – it was like being 12 years old again!
