To celebrate the release of Killing Eve Season 3, Flawless.org conducted a survey to find out who you thought were the ‘Most Fashionable Female Villains of All Time’

3446 respondents took part by choosing from a list of 100 iconic female villains and then, once the top 10 was identified, chose one final as their favourite, and here are the results:

1. Glenn Close as Cruella De Vil in 101 Dalmations
“Drown them, for all I care. You’re a *fool*, Anita! I have no use for fools. You’re fired, you’re finished, you’ll never work in fashion again!” Cruella was arguably the first Miranda Priestly, and the fashions were a monochrome dream!

2. Joan Collins as Alexis Colby in Dynasty
“I just can’t wait for the day when I see you walking out of this house carrying the same two cheap plastic suitcases that you walked in here with.” 80’s power-bitch Alexis Colby brought shoulder pads to the forefront of fashion, and is still referenced today by Queens and Queers alike…

3. Jodie Comer as Villanelle in Killing Eve
“You should really ask before you touch a person.” Jodie Comer brilliantly brings this modern day emotionally unstable female killer-for-hire Villanelle to life, and her fashions leave viewers in awe each week. She may not be able express her emotions, but she can express herself in style very well…

4. Faye Dunaway as Bonnie Parker in Bonnie & Clyde
“What would you do if some miracle happened and we could walk out of here tomorrow morning and start all over again clean? No record and nobody after us?” the ultimate on-the-run couple wouldn’t be as revered as they are without the style and cool temperament of Bonnie Parker.

5. Leighton Meester as Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl
“You need to be cold to be queen.” Remember when we were all asking ourselves who was the secret Gossip Girl blogger spilling everyones secrets? Well we had all our money on Queen B-iatch Blair, and even though it turns out she was an innocent victim in all this, she still gave us some stunning fashions whilst delivering some of the most cutting quotes, you go Cold Queen!

6. Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada
“Is there some reason that my coffee isn’t here? Has she died or something?” We’re surprised that the cold Editor-In-Chief Miranda Priestly only made it to number 6, but whilst her quotes are unforgettable (and we constantly use them on a daily basis!), her fashion was stylish, chic, and suitable for her – showing that you don’t need to be overly elaborate and loud – you just need to find what suits you and stick to it – don’t worry, you can still deliver shade just the same…

7. Sarah Michelle Gellar as Kathryn Merteuil from Cruel Intentions
“My advice is to sleep with as many people as possible” When you set your sights on being a true homewrecker, you need to dress to impress – and Kathryn Merteuil is the poster girl for doing just that.

8. Imelda Staunton as Dolores Umbridge from Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix
“Deep down, you know that you deserve to be punished” You just know that when you see a lady dressed in all pink, surrounded by pictures of cats, with a high pitched laugh, that trouble is a brewing – and despite Dolores Umbridge having a more age appropriate style, it worked perfectly for her and her delivery of her sadistic forms of punishments.

9. Angelina Jolie as Maleficent from Maleficent
“I must say, I really felt quite distressed at not receiving an invitation” This is one lady you don’t want to miss off your guest list. Delivering fallen-fairy-sorceress-realness, Angelina Jolie shows us just how many ways you can wrap up your horns…

10. Daryl Hannah as Elle Driver from Kill Bill
“I might never have liked you, point in fact I despised you. But that shouldn’t suggest I don’t respect you.” Elle Driver didn’t just show us how to kick-ass with our straw-like 90’s blonde hair, but she introduced us to eye-patches and what a great fashion accessory they make – I mean, who else wears a red cross over their eye patch in a nurses uniform…?

So there you have it, the Top 10 Most Fashionable Female Villains of all time, and we thought it prudent to showcase some of the close runners-up that we also hold near and dear to our chilly little hearts…

11. Michelle Pfieffer as Catwoman from Batman Returns
Life’s a bitch All hail the queen who brought catsuits to the forefront of sexy fashion styles, and has been replicated many times over by many a keen-Halloween cosplayer. This sexy, seductive villain stole all our hearts with her stitched up PVC costume, and we’re pretty sure she stole all the kitty litter too…

12. Carice van Houten as Melisandre from Game of Thrones
It is not those foes who curse you to your face that you must fear, but those who smile when you are looking and sharpen their knives when you turn your back Crimson Queen Melisandre from the cult modern classic Game of Thrones just missed out on the Top 10 – but we would let this stylish witch bring us to life any day, and if she wants to bring us Kit Harrington too, we wouldn’t be complaining…
