‘Divine Beings’ is the latest offering from non-conformist luxury brand PRITCH London, which made it’s way down the runway on Monday night an an early Fashion Week show, which is key for how the brand wants to engage with it’s audience – they are not going to follow traditional pathways and ideals, which suits us just fine, because neither do we!
The idea behind this seasons collection is to allow the wearer to harness a divine status, bringing silhouettes inspired by Greek mythology to us, and pairing those with bright and bold modern colours, all whilst maintaining the brands core focuses on utilising handcrafted leathers, opulent textures and esoteric materials.
The colour palette reflects the mysterious tales of the three-headed goddess of magic and the night, Hecate, who was known for her ability to see past, present, and future, and this is entirely reflective of the collection that came down the runway this week.
I think the thing that struck me the most from this collection is the sheer vibrancy it has, the models seemed to glow with power and confidence as they commanded the echoed halls of the Chapel setting. If you wanted to dress like a superhero, but not have to compromise with hideous capes and wearing pants over your spandex suit, then this is definitely the collection for you. The cuts are clear and defined, yet allow the wearers to be comfortable, and the paired monochromatic prints with the bright contrasting colours is something we ADORE (can we just talk about that monochrome jumpsuit with yellow pockets and accents!!! AMAZING!).
