Beauty Boyfriend News

With salons reopening in a month, now is the time to ensure hair is in top condition ahead of your return to your much loved hairdresser.

We spoke to Virtue Brand Ambassador and Celebrity Colourist Nicola Clarke who gave us this advice:

4 Weeks To Go: I would recommend using the Exfoliating Scalp Treatment on a weekly basis, to refresh the scalp by removing dead skin cells that may have built up after being locked in the house with the heating on. A healthy scalp is important as it means the hair can prepare for colour. I would also be using the Split End Serum after washing and before styling to repair frazzled ends .

3 Weeks To Go: I love to deeply nourish hair by using the Restorative Treatment Mask once a week to help improve the manageability of damaged hair, repairing and strengthening strands.

2 Weeks To Go: I would suggest using the Healing Oil after every time you wash hair to help rectify any heat damage to the hair. This potent formula remedies any wear and tear, and fills in holes in the hair strand to give you a smooth cuticle and hair shaft for an even hair colour. Having healthy hair will also help with the vibrancy and longevity of the colour.

1 Week to Go: A couple of days before your salon visit wash and condition hair with the Recovery Shampoo & Conditioner to gently dissolve build-up and replenish vital nutrients to leave hair as healthy, soft and supple as possible.

The Virtue range is available from Cult Beauty, Space.NK, Net-a-Porter, Feelunique & LookFantastic
