We’re all losing track of what day it is, or even whether its morning or night sometimes, so when I came across these new solar powered watches by Fossil, I simply had to bring them to your attention.
The watches are 100% vegan, with their composition being made up of around 16 plastic bottles, and an outer ring casing that acts as a solar panel, capturing light and converting it to energy which is then stored in a rechargeable battery that powers the movement of the watch for up to four months.
Fossil has a commitment to making a positive social and environmental impact, and has a goal to design and produce 100% of its products to meet the pro-planet criteria by 2025, which means each product will include at least one sustainably-approved material, and all primary packaging will be recyclable or reusable.
In addition, and to mark the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, Fossil has partnered with EcoMatcher to plant a tree in honour of each person who purchases the Solar Watch.
The limited-edition styles will be available online at fossil.com for
a limited time from mid-May. To learn more about our commitment to sustainability and their MakeTimeForGood initiative, visit maketimeforgood.com.
