‘Royal Highness’ artist Tom Grennan is back with the single ‘This Is The Place’ and its EPIC!

We first fell in love with Tom back in 2018 where his album ‘Lighting Matches’ gave him one of the best selling debut albums from that year. Now he’s back with ‘This Is The Place’ which shows a more stripped back and raw version of the artist with lyrics like ‘These are the nights I drink to regret you’ and ‘This is the place I come to forget you’ – thoughts that all of us has no doubt shared at some point in our lives.

The chorus soars and demonstrates the grandeur and skillful ability Tom has to take such soulful lyrics, and bring them into a track that will have everyone singing along.

The video for the track was shot in South Africa and mirrors the track perfectly.

Speaking of the track, Tom says:

“This song is about finding a place of complete calm and escaping utter chaos and carnage. My happy place, my go to place! Whether it’s on my own or with the person I love. The song documents the kind of journey I go on to get there, and one that I would make any time of the day to reach a serene and cleansing state of mind.”

Tom is currently working on his second album due for release later this year, and will mark his first live performance of the new decade with an intimate show at London’s Bush Hall this February 19th for BRITs Week together with O2 for War Child.
