What if there was a way you could get new clothes AND save the planet, without having to spend a penny?! Introducing Comforts Swap Shop...

Sustainability has never been so much of a focus for fashion than it is right now, and everyone is always looking for new ways to be more environmentally conscious when buying new clothes – but what if there was a way you could get new clothes AND save the planet, without having to spend a penny?!

UK’s leading laundry brand ‘Comfort’ are introducing a new ‘Swap Shop’ where you can bring in your unwanted items, and for every item you bring in, you can swap it for something else, a truly sustainable and environmentally friendly way of shopping! Better still, they will be running workshops on how to care for your clothes and update your style without having to hit the shops with speakers like Sairey Stemp, Senior Fashion Editor at Cosmopolitan, and Molly Haylor, Accessories Editor for ELLE.

There will also be an embroiderer on site for any personalisation requests, and clothes for sale kindly donated by Oxfam, Cosmopolitan and ELLE for those of you who don’t feel like swapping anything – with all sale proceeds being donated to The Princes Trust who help young people under 30 get into employment and education.

Michele Vincitorio, Brand Manager at Comfort UK, says

“We know that our clothes can improve not just how we look but our state of mind in a positive way too and its important we show them the love they deserve. Whether it’s swapping them so someone else can love them as much as you do,  re-styling them so you see them in a different light or personalising them so they look brand new – the Comfort Swap Shop has it all.”
